Flyers & leaflets
Leaflets or flyers are a great way to communicate with both existing and potential customers. They provide a short burst of information, and the opportunity to add extra value by including exclusive time-limited or ‘with this voucher only’ offers.
What’s the difference?
Although fairly interchangeable terms, as a general rule a flyer is the ‘cheap and cheerful’ verson of the two – usually only a single-use sheet of paper for promotions such as one-off deal in your shop, a theme night in a club or bar, or similar.
A leaflet is usually of a higher quality and probably made for the recipient to keep for a bit longer. Think of the folded piece of paper you pick up to find out what’s going on at a venue for a the season, or informational leaflets about the venue including its history, opening times and contact details.
Brochures are a step on from a leaflet, probably with multiple pages and intended for keeping for longer.
